Come and join us for our annual walk followed by festive Christmas social lunch in Thorpe Village Hall. We will walk 2-3 miles from Thorpe Village Hall, returning around midday for lunch in the hall. Please book on here if you are walking first AND joining us for lunch in the hall. As usual please bring £10 to cover hall rental costs etc. Any funds leftover will be given to a good cause. This walk starts from the Potting shed cafe (formally called the Hyde cafe). This walk has amazing New Forest views over high heathland. The paths vary but in places can be muddy. There are often donkeys in this area along with New Forest ponies. Occasionally also cows.
Join us for a 3 mile walk from our favourite park in the centre of Preston where we will look at some of the statues that have been placed in the city, and what their significance is and how they fit in with the city's history. This walk was postponed at the beginning of the year due to the weather, lets try again. It is essential to register and book in advance online.
