Chair-Based Circuits is a low-impact, full-body workout designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, and cardiovascular fitness in a safe and supportive environment. Using a chair for support, the class combines seated and standing exercises that target the upper body, lower body, and core. Movements can be easily adapted to suit individual abilities, making this class ideal for beginners, older adults, those returning to exercise, or anyone with mobility or balance considerations.
These sessions are quieter with reduced capacity to cater for individuals with learning and disability needs, whether a physical or a hidden disability. Sessions are suitable for fitness, socialising, and rehabilitation.
Chair yoga is practiced either sitting or using chairs for support in various postures and is designed to mindfully increase range of motion while meeting students where they are. This class is ideal for students with limited mobility or healing from injury.
