Sessions for adults to swim socially, no lanes. These sessions are generally quieter and so may be more suitable for those living with dementia, neurodivergence and/or other long term health conditions
Swimming is an low-impact workout that works the whole body. It can help build cardiovascular fitness, stamina and strength.
Join our volunteer walk leaders every Monday 10am, for a 3 mile walk around the reserve. On the second and fourth monday of each month we offer 2 walks, 3 miles or 5-6 miles. Dogs on short leads welcome, please dress for the weather which can be unpredictable at the coast and bring water to keep hydrated. The ground can be uneven in places. Everyone welcome, walk at your pace. Meet at SandiDunes cafe kiosk, LN12 2SE.
Gentle joint mobility to commence, some pulse raising exercises for light cardiovascular components, some balance exercises, functional exercises, use of small equipment for strength components and fun activities, followed by stretches to conclude. This is a very social class to encourage exercising whilst having fun and making friends
