Walking netball is played at walking pace, with players not allowed to run. This includes with the ball or off the ball, and includes jogging. You can ‘walk’ as fast as you want and walking as described in the rules is “one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times'”.
Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. Sessions are full of fun, laughter and camaraderie. We book the Main and Teaching pools at Places Leisure Eastleigh, Passfield Avenue SO50 9NL for our exclusive use on Tuesday evenings between 8.00pm and 9.00pm. Members can also meet beforehand from 7.30pm in the cafe area. This activity will help with the fundementals on how to train and give you the basic mechanics of how to use gym equipment safely, also structure a workout ensuring form is correct. All juniors under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult to take part. Please only book onto one class each week. We will be working on one muscle group each week.
