A Woodland Wellbeing forest bathing session normally lasts between 1 and a half to 2 hours. Expect a mindful, gentle paced stroll immersed in the natural environment. We will be moving at approximately 2-3 miles an hour. There will be invitations to join in activities developed to help you engage all your senses in your Shinrin-Yoku (forest bathing) experience as well as the opportunity for quiet reflection. The Active Blaby team co-ordinate and sometimes lead a series of walks designed to get people moving. These Health Walks are quite short in length, relatively easy in pace and are delivered in a way to get you moving as a first step to building activity into your day. They are also a great chance to socialise with other like minded people and have some fun too!!
