Pace one A 2k to 3k gentle WALX that incorporates balance work, flexibility and strength exercises and maybe a bit of yoga or relaxation too. On Monday these walks take place around Stanmore and Harrow Weald on mainly flat terrain but we do go on trails through the woods so that we can enjoy the changes in nature throughout the year. If you enjoy walking in open green spaces then come along and try this walk over Milton Common. The ground can be rough and uneven but the views across the harbour to Hayling Island are lovely. You may also see some interesting birds in this area. Pathways may be wet and muddy so wear appropriate footwear.

This is a Gear 2 walk of less than 4 miles. There are a couple of different options according to the ground conditions. Although a shortish walk, there are some steep ramps to improve your cardio fitness. The walk varies between grass on lovely old turf and hard tracks.
