We are offering complimentary golf lessons via use of the Paragolfer, which is a specially designed vehicle that enables a participant with a mobility impairment, spinal injury, paralysis to be lifted in to a standing position. Once competent the user can visit any time to utilise the benefits of the Paragolfer, play golf and socialise in the golf environment any time. Through Expert coaching we can ensure the route to regular recreational activity.
Wheelchair Tennis Coaching is for anyone with a physical impairment or disability who would like to play tennis. There is one session per week - Saturday 1.00-2.30pm. The Wheely Good Tennis Club (WGTC) meet every week (in line with the state school calendar) to play together indoors at Coombe Dingle Sports Complex (BS9 2BJ). Our Community Club in Kensington and Chelsea runs weekly inclusive multi-sport sessions. The club offers a range of inclusive traditional and Paralympic sports including football, basketball, cricket, tennis, boccia and more. Our sports club is open to anyone with a disability aged 8 years and over. Sessions are free, and siblings, parents, carers and support workers can also join! TFF sessions are either 12yrs and over, or ‘All Ages’. Please check the supporting text on this page for this venue as to which of these categories this TFF scheme falls into. If it is a 12yrs+ only session, please don’t book in children under this age, as 12yrs+ sessions are full court, normal yellow tennis balls, which will be too difficult for younger children/juniors. Come and join us!
Badminton sessions for adults and juniors with a physical or learning disability. Saturdays 1-2pm. (Term time only) Coaching and games. We cater for all disabilities. All equipment provided including rackets. We do have our own sports wheelchairs but please let Kirsty know if you’re coming so we make sure we have enough for those that are attending.
