A gentle walking pace incorporating strength and balance exercises outdoors. This Wellness WALX is designed for those who benefit from progressive, gentle exercise, and is open to those using poles, not using poles or who would like to try poles. Beginners are very welcome.
Duration - 1 hour, walk grade 2. Mark is away so Christine has agreed to lead this walk. This walk is conducted at a gentle pace, with rest stops if required. Regular catch-up and re-grouping to allow people to walk ahead if required.

A social, led, brisk, short walk which, done on a regular basis, can help you feel good and have more energy. Health Walks are led by trained walk leaders and vary in length to suit all abilities. Be sure to check with site to confirm the meeting place as it could be in a community setting rather than the Centre. All you need is a comfortable pair of shoes and possibly a drink.
