Powerchair Football is an ideal sport for young people who find ambulant football difficult due to their disability. The Powerchair Football Club compete in the WFA regional league. Weekly Training sessions take place on Thursdays 4.00-7.30pm at the Waterfront Leisure Centre (Soccer 5s area). Sessions take place all year round. Our Powerchair Football team works in partnership with Sale United FC and helps to promote football opportunities for wheelchair users. Our team was first launched in September 2017. We run sessions Thursday, 5-7pm, and Saturdays, 10am-12pm. For more information, please contact mattpilkington@me.com
Middlesbrough Powerchair Football Club enables people with a severe physical disability of all ages & gender to play the fast paced team sport of powerchair football. The club is based at Middlesbrough Sports Village; training on a Thursday & Friday evening. Having four teams playing in various regional leagues, as well as the national league, means that there is space for everyone to play.
