These walks are in the parks and gardens of Leamington. We walk on the hard surfaces with plenty of opportunity to stop and take a seated break on the benches. It is a social walk with the main focus on having a chat with fellow walkers. . This walk is through Jephson Gardens, Mill Gardens and/or the Pump Room Gardens and /or Victoria Park. Harrow Striders offer a monthly adventure walk which may take the group out of Harrow to new locations to experience more of the wonderful countryside in the neighbouring boroughs or into London.
Level 1: 1 to 1.5 miles, flat or gentle slopes, no stiles and ideal for those able to complete 30- 40 mins with minimal stops. Under 18’s may attend but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Hampshire Healthy Families Ready Steady Walks are free, push-chair friendly, social walking groups for families with young children living in Hampshire. Ready Steady Walk is a good excuse to get out into the fresh air and give you the chance to meet local families in your community. Your local walking group will be led by a Barnardo’s volunteer, or your local community worker. The walking groups meet once a week at the same venue in your area, at the same day and time.
