We offer three different levels of walking groups to suit a variety of fitness levels and preferences: Walk Plus A brisk, faster-paced group (3.5 to 4 miles per hour), ideal for those who are generally fit and already walk regularly. We have a choice of two lovely walks at this location - through the disused airfield with all its history and beautiful views stretching across to the Isle of Wight, or across the road into the inclosure where it`s more sheltered and includes some gentle hills. Both walks are dry underfoot and please bring your paws as there's lots of tarmac!

Gentle walk to Explore - woodland, hills and meadows, all part of these most enjoyable walks. This walk is for those who can walk 5-6 km in an hour and is moderate pace. Come and learn how to turn walking into a total body exercise with poles. The Power of Poles course will introduce you to the wonderful world of Nordic walking – a fun, sociable and affordable way to improve your health and fitness. In this 90-minute session, you’ll learn the basics of Nordic walking and gain your Freedom Passport. You’ll then be able to book into any of our regular walks and classes.
