A more gentle walk for those with a recent medical condition that means that mobility is limited, and who feel their fitness levels have declined as a result. The challenge is still to manage an hour walk, with rests when needed. Regular weekly walks can bring improvements. Start of the walk is at the same time as the other group. Warming up exercises are together and we meet again in the car park for a hot drink. Gear 1 - max 2 miles at your pace.
This is our regular 1 hour walk. We sometimes walk on the Tissington Trail as this is fairly level and even. But we will also incorporate fields and hills in our walks which are 2-3 miles. Gear 1 and sometimes 2 Please bring a (hot) drink for after the walk. Please note, there are no toilet facilities (unless the pub is open early) From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills.
