This walking group activity is delivered by Community Voluntary Services Tendring (CVST) as part of the lottery funded Healthier Independent Longer Lives (HILL) project. It is designed to help people lead healthier, more independent and active lives. This is a fun walk for all ages and abilities. We stop for a refreshment at the of the walk, so come along and make new friends in your local community, have fun and get active!

Our shortest walk, 20-30 minutes, flat and even ground, gentle pace, no stiles, regular stopping places. Children are welcome, however under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult and must also be registered as a health walker.

Join our Guided Nordic Walk around the ancient Forest. Walks are led by our team of experienced Forestry England Volunteers. Our walks are suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels, who have completed a NWUK Learn to Walk Course and are comfortable walking for the full 90 minutes. If you feel the full 90 minutes will not be possible please talk to the walk leader and they will arrange to bring you back to the car park after 45 minutes so that you can still enjoy a walk.
