This is a walk for those who are managing a long term health condition. The session comprises of a walking route that can be inland, or along the coast at Goring. There will be rest stops, and the pace regulated to accommodate all those attending on the day. Also there will be exercises and activities to target flexibility, strength and balance. For February's midweek walk we will be walking a 2-2.5 hour 5 mile/8km loop starting in Hartington near the duck pond. The walk will take us out of the village in the Upper Dove Valley towards the site of Pilsbury Castle, an ancient motte & bailey. There will be stiles & gates, fields, sealed country lanes and most likely mud. More details to follow. From one hour WALX in your local country park to a half day in the hills.
