A social, led, brisk, short walk which, done on a regular basis, can help you feel good and have more energy. Health Walks are led by trained walk leaders and vary in length to suit all abilities. Be sure to check with site to confirm the meeting place as it could be in a community setting rather than the Centre. All you need is a comfortable pair of shoes and possibly a drink.

First Steps - This is our shortest walk, 20 - 30 minutes, flat and even ground, gentle pace, no stiles, regular stopping places. It is a gentle walk for beginners and ideal for people who are returning to physical activity after injury or illness or who haven't been active in a while. Gentle Walk with Mel Explore - woodland, hills and meadows, all part of these most enjoyable walks. This walk is for those who can walk 5-6 km in an hour and is moderate pace. This week we’ll be combining our yoga session with our poles walk, taking time to fully immerse ourselves in the beautiful surroundings of Arne. We’ll find a peaceful spot along the route to enjoy simple, standing yoga postures using our poles for support. Participants meet and chat with a hot or cold drink from 1:00-1:30PM before beginning the relaxing and rejuvenating route from Hay Hall Manor House, Birmingham, B11 2BE, along the canal and back to Hay Hall Manor House.
