A regular walking and nature interest group that meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 10am. Explore Canvey Wick Nature Reserve with Community Warden, Katie, and find out about some of the plants and animals that make their home here. Sometimes we take part in nature surveys such as the Big Butterfly Count, but no prior experience is necessary. It's a very friendly group and anyone is welcome to join us. Refreshments are available before and after the session.
Join us for a 45-60 minute gentle wellbeing walk from Isobel Centre through Pan Country Park, finishing with a hot drink at the Centre.
Grade 1 - 30 to 40 minute walk on flat and even ground, gentle pace, no stiles. It is a good walk for beginners. Join us for a cuppa afterwards in the church hall. This group is for those that have had primary breast cancer diagnosed and are after breast cancer moving on from treatment and looking forward to their life and journey onwards. Want to learn something new and fun, which is a full-body workout without feeling like one? Enjoy walking outdoors with like-minded others – great for mental and physical well-being, easy on the joints, and it burns up to 46% more calories than normal walking!
