Displaying local activities and events running in the next two weeks
Come on a walk with us in the locality of the Saffron Walden area (within a half hour drive from, approx), it's surrounding villages and countryside. I am undertaking 3 walks weekly (generally term time only). You are very welcome to join us. The 3 walks will be of varying lengths and times from different locations. On Tuesday morning we will undertake 3 -6miles (approximately 2 hours).
Our lovely Tuesday walk is an hour of easy walking incorporating some mobility, balance and stretches - perfect for those who don't want to push themselves too much, are recently starting out on their Nordic walking journey or quite simply want to have an hour of steady, pleasurable walking.
Hosted by Cathy This easy walk will take you along the River Seven to the Weir and back along the other side stopping at the Dingle Gardens, where we will enjoy the seasonal planting, water feature, wild life and with luck the resident Heron.

The Active Blaby team co-ordinate and sometimes lead a series of walks designed to get people moving. These Health Walks are quite short in length, relatively easy in pace and are delivered in a way to get you moving as a first step to building activity into your day. They are also a great chance to socialise with other like minded people and have some fun too!!
