Class is gentle seated exercise for less mobile members. Suitable for people with mobility issues.
This walk is approximately 4.5/5 miles. There are two different options according to sign ups and the weather. Both options include a longish medium incline and possibly a couple of short steeper ramps. The walk is along country lanes, grass tracks, open countryside and wooded tracks. A 45 minute open gym session where the music is lowered. Parents are allowed to come and train with there newborn/children if they are in a car seat or pushchair.
Simple but effective exercises, that will strengthen the whole body and improve both your balance and posture. Seated and standing exercises.
A slower-paced version of the sport for male and female participants. These sessions will help improve your fitness, health and well-being and you don’t need brilliant tennis skills to join in, just a desire for fun and enjoyment.
Enhance your flexibility, strength, and inner peace with our weekly Yoga class at the Elmwood Centre. Suitable for all ages and abilities, this hour-long session focuses on mindful movement and deep breathing. This is Yoga for everybody and every body with Jackie.
This class is mainly Chair-Based Yoga, although you are welcome to bring your mat for a more traditional gentle mat-based practice.
Level 2: Up to 3 miles, tracks and some hills or moderate pace. Intermediate walks, ideal for those looking to develop their walking fitness and able to complete 45-60 mins with minimal stops. Under 18’s may attend but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
