Come along and join this weekly Wellbeing Walk from Silver Jubilee Park taking place every Wednesday afternoon. The walks meets at 1:15pm and starts at 1:30pm from in front of the hub at Silver Jubilee Park. It is approximately one hour long but walkers can leave at anytime they wish owing to the location and nature of the walk. Each walk is very easy with two sets of 4 steps. PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site (01472) 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
Wellbeing Walks are short walks, run by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. All walks are free of charge and are open to everyone – you don’t need to preregister, just come along and join us. The routes start and finish at the same location as advertised, and last between 30 and 90 minutes. A slower-paced version of the world`s most popular sport, aimed at the over 50's. Smaller pitches and plenty of breaks ensure that participants enjoy a safe and enjoyable return to football. The slower pace doesn't detract from the competition though - it`s much more than just a stroll in the park!

Learn how to Nordic Walk with experienced leaders who will adapt the walk to suit all abilities. Poles will be provided. Nordic Walking tones the upper and lower body, reduces pressure on the joints and is great for burning calories. Every Wednesday 1:30-2:30pm. £1 per session. Limited spaces available.
