Sport for Confidence programmes place health professionals and specialist coaches into leisure centers, to provide inclusive sporting opportunities to people who face barriers to participation, including those with learning disabilities, mental health issues, dementia, autism, physical impairment or disability, homelessness, and many other complex health needs.

A swim session for people with disabilities, parents and carers are welcome
Each booking is for 1 child and 1 adult. Children (including siblings) who are outside the specified age for this class are not permitted. The only exception is for babies (pre-walking) who can accompany the parent/guardian and the booked child. Doors close 10 minutes after the class has started.
GEMS is a friendly and relaxed dance class for over 65s which includes a mixture of seated and standing movement with a focus on everyone going at their own pace and having fun. GEMS is more than a dance class. It's about being part of a community, building friendships and everyone enjoying themselves. We cover a wide range of styles and facilitate the exploration of creative movement. Each session costs £3.50, your first session is free!
The Premiership Football 6 a-side League and Summer Cup events takes place every month from October-June with a summer Cup held on 10th July 2025 at Long Lane Junior Football Club, Dursley Road SE3. This League is suitable for Adults aged 16yrs+ with a learning disability or mental health issues. Entry fees apply @ £2.00 per player per event. Greenwich Get Walking is a healthy walks scheme run by Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT), alongside the Royal Borough of Greenwich and in partnership with Ramblers.
