Rockets SEND programme caters for adults ( aged 18+) with additional needs who want to be involved in a fun and active sports session. The club understands how powerful sport can be in boosting confidence, staying healthy, enhancing social skills and learning to work as part of a team. Our SEND sessions are suitable for boys and girls of any ability and a diagnosis isn't required to join the programme. It is open to any child who finds mainstream sessions challenging.

Hereward Heat is a club for wheelchair basketball players - experienced or new. Players include fulltime wheelchair users, those with mobility issues, and able bodied people. If you like team sports, learning new skills, high energy activity or just having fun, then Heat is for you. We’re always looking for new players, so please do get in touch. We train at Comberton Village College (CB23 7DU) near Cambridge, on Tuesday evenings. And play a few matches at the weekends during the season.
The Accessible Swim Session is designed to help disabled and less-abled swimmers to build on their water confidence and swimming technique. Available to to all users in a friendly and supportive environment. Pool hoist availabe if required.
Walking netball is played at walking pace, with players not allowed to run. This includes with the ball or off the ball, and includes jogging. You can ‘walk’ as fast as you want and walking as described in the rules is “one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times'”.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
