A social, led, brisk, short walk which, done on a regular basis, can help you feel good and have more energy. Health Walks are led by trained walk leaders and vary in length to suit all abilities. Be sure to check with site to confirm the meeting place as it could be in a community setting rather than the Centre. All you need is a comfortable pair of shoes and possibly a drink.
A swimming session aimed for over 60s as well as adults and children with disabilities. It’s a great way to socialise and relax in a pool environment.
In this type of physical activity, the individual completes the activity while seated in a chair . This allows those with mobility or balance issues to exercise and alleviates pressure from the lower body for those who are in pain
Sessions for adults to swim socially, no lanes. These sessions are generally quieter and so may be more suitable for those living with dementia, neurodivergence and/or other long term health conditions
This group exercise class is designed to help the elderly improve physical fitness, strength, and balance. The exercises within the class are progressed slowly according to your abilities, and within the same group people normally progress at different rates.
