A fun and creative weekly class, Dance Ability is specifically designed for young dancers with cognitive and/or physical disabilities, or who identify as neurodivergent. Led by experienced inclusive dance artist, Vicki Busfield, Dance Ability uses props, music and movement to boost confidence, physicality and social interaction skills. In our Dance Ability: Carers & Dancers class, children and their parents / carers / older siblings have fun dancing together.
A unique, beginner level Ballet class for young people aged 11-18. Develop ballet technique in a creative and collaborative environment. This class will focus on improving potential in technical precision, musicality, individual artistry and style.
A contemporary dance class for young people aged 8-11 years (school years 4-6). This class will introduce young people to Contemporary Dance techniques. Dancers will begin to explore coordination and control through floorwork, travelling, and jumping sequences. We are open to all levels and experience.
Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. Sessions are full of fun, laughter and camaraderie. Explore, create and perform with Bellingham Beats – a creative dance class for 5-7 year olds. Bellingham Beats is a series of creative dance classes supporting young people to develop their movement and coordination skills, as well as work with friends to create their own choreography. These high-quality classes are taught by a Trinity Laban dance artist, and take place offsite in Bellingham with regular performance opportunities.
