You can ‘walk’ as fast as you want and walking as described in the rules is “one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times'”. The Accessible Swim Session is designed to help disabled and less-abled swimmers to build on their water confidence and swimming technique. Available to to all users in a friendly and supportive environment. Pool hoist available if required.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.

Strength & Balance is a chair-based exercise programme for over-55s living in Islington. These sessions can be done sitting down but are also suitable for those looking to improve their balance and become steadier on their feet. These gentle exercise classes are also suitable for people with movement-limiting conditions such as COPD and arthritis. If you or a loved one are looking to improve strength and increase independence then this is the class for you.
