Wellbeing Walks are short walks, run by friendly, specially trained volunteer walk leaders, who are on hand to provide encouragement and support. All walks are free of charge and are open to everyone – you don’t need to preregister, just come along and join us. The routes start and finish at the same location as advertised, and last between 30 and 90 minutes. We play every Friday, our sessions are fun, encouraging and open to all. It doesn't matter if you've not played Netball before, or perhaps it's been a while, we practise skills and have fun while we're doing it. Give it a go!
Wellbeing walks are regular walks which are free and open to all. The walks are usually within the Country Park, occasionally in Harrold village, with an annual bluebell walk in nearby woods (conditions permitting). Café and toilets available, parking free (but a donation is suggested – goes to the upkeep of the Park). There are no stiles but it may occasionally be slightly muddy. A swim session for people with disabilities. Parents and carers are welcome.
Participants must complete and submit a referral form prior to accessing this class This class is part of our BE ACTIVE … live well programme which is aimed at those with a health condition; the older adult; and/or those who haven't exercised before and don't know where to start. Seated exercise is a chair based exercise to music class, which is suitable for all levels.
A dedicated 55-minute session for those over 50+ that is both lane swimming and casual swimming, which also includes those with disabilities that require a quieter session.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
