This class takes into account the specific needs of varied demographics including inactive, sedentary, disabled, obese, rehabilitation, recovery, older and frailer older adults in a variety of environments.
These sessions are targeted particularly at adults with a disability and/or long term health condition. Wheel chair users and groups are very welcome. No playing experience needed. The game is played seated.

Led by engaging and experienced coaches, wheelchair tennis offers the opportunity for players to learn to love tennis. Free sports wheelchair hire available.
An allocated section of pool is set aside for gentler aquatic exercise - stationary water exercises, walking or gentle swimming.
Pace one A 2k to 3k gentle WALX that incorporates balance work, flexibility and strength exercises and maybe a bit of yoga or relaxation too. On Monday these walks take place around Stanmore and Harrow Weald on mainly flat terrain but we do go on trails through the woods so that we can enjoy the changes in nature throughout the year. Gentle Walk with Mel Explore - woodland, hills and meadows, all part of these most enjoyable walks. This walk is for those who can walk 5-6 km in an hour and is moderate pace.
