A horse riding club for people with disabilities. Wednesday and Thursday all day. Please contact Joy Brown for times. Our purpose is to provide people of all ages with learning difficulties and physical disabilities with access to horse riding and in some cases carriage driving in order to promote mental and physical health, learning, and general wellbeing. PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
This team provides a regular football training opportunity for disabled people. Sessions take place throughout the year. The team is part of a club that may cater for a wide range of different impairment and abilities. Some teams will play in local disability leagues (pan-disability or impairment specific) but training only opportunities exist for those not looking to compete against other teams. Community Tennis at Ulster has taken over from Causeway Community Tennis Club to promote and encourage everyone to play tennis. Opportunity provided by www.activelivingnolimits.co.uk hosted by Disability Sport NI.
The Accessible Swim Session is designed to help disabled and less-abled swimmers to build on their water confidence and swimming technique. Available to to all users in a friendly and supportive environment. Pool hoist available if required.
