Functional Fitness for Seniors is about exercising to improve your ‘function’ - the things you need to do in day to day life and that you need to age well. The class focus on 'Fundamental' movements that we all need to make the most of our lives, both now and in the future. It is about undertaking exercises that research shows benefits us to maintain a happy and fit life, combating frailty, maintaining heart health and balance. The classes aim to ensure that this is also FUN!
Rebalance is a weekly session to help balance your Nutritional, Fitness & Wellbeing needs through discussion, exercise
A mindful 60 minute practice which will include movement, stillness, breath work and relaxation. This class will be suitable for you if: You cannot get down to and up from the floor; You cannot stand, or need support standing; You have a long term medical condition or physical limitations (eg MS, chronic fatigue, COPD, arthritis); You are awaiting surgery or recovering from surgery; All sorts of other conditions - please call Lucy to discuss.

Falls are not an inevitable part of getting older and the good news is, falls can often be prevented. Steady and Strong classes for older adults have been developed by experts to increase your strength and balance, helping you to stay stronger for longer and able to keep doing the things you love. You will do a mix of seated and standing exercises, with chair support for those who need it.
Swimming is an low-impact workout that works the whole body. It can help build cardiovascular fitness, stamina and strength.
