Hampshire Healthy Families Ready Steady Walks are free, push-chair friendly, social walking groups for families with young children living in Hampshire. Ready Steady Walk is a good excuse to get out into the fresh air and give you the chance to meet local families in your community. Your local walking group will be led by a Barnardo’s volunteer, or your local community worker. The walking groups meet once a week at the same venue in your area, at the same day and time.
There is an option of a L1 walk and a Level 3 walk. Level 1: 1 to 1.5 miles, flat or gentle slopes, no stiles and ideal for those able to complete 30- 40 mins with minimal stops. Level 3: 3-4 miles, fields and hills, quicker pace and possible stiles. Intermediate walks, ideal for those with good walking fitness and able to complete 60-90mins with minimal stops. Under 18’s may attend but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Booking not required, but please register for free health walk...
Multi-sport session for adults with a disability, all ability levels welcome. The format of the sessions is multi-sport, our experienced coaches will provide a range of different sports, activities and games each week, encouraging participants to learn and develop new skills in a fun, friendly and welcoming environment.
Inclusive United's daytime inclusive football sessions are for young adults aged 18+ with mild to moderate learning disabilities, neurodiversity, SEN (special educational needs) or additional needs. Participants play in a safe, inclusive and fun environment, develop their football skills and build their confidence. There is also time for participants to meet new friends and socialise, play pool and table tennis in the social hub.
West Belfast Walk -RNIB 10.30am meeting at main gate of Falls Park. Organized by DSNI - Two levels, a slow walk, and a faster walk. The group usually go for coffee in the local café for a chat. Opportunity provided by www.activelivingnolimits.co.uk hosted by Disability Sport NI
