Functional Fitness class for over 50's to maintain / improve Endurance, Strength, Balance and Mobility - everything you need to lead a healthy life! This is our most intensive class held for seniors - floor exercises are included so bring a mat (although some are provided). The class is varied each week. The multisport session is held indoors and is suitable for any level of ability. There are a range of different sport activities each week including Tennis, Boccia, Seated Volleyball and New Age Curling to name a few. Mutisports sessions take place at the Waterfront Leisure Centre 11.00-12.00pm. The tennis sessions are held on the Mini courts 10.00-11.00am. This multisport session will follow on after the tennis. Participants can attend both sport sessions if they wish.
The Greenwich Play Tennis Club provide Tennis coaching sessions for Disabled Adults and young people aged 16yrs+. The coaching sessions are based at the Waterfront Leisure Centre Every Friday morning @ 10.00am-12.00noon. Sessions are on a turn up and play basis and free of charge. All equipment is provided. There is an option to also take part in an indoor Multi sport session that follows the first tennis session at 11.00-12.00noon. Contact the Head Coach for more information.

Play in the Park is a series of FREE two-hour multi-activity sessions for children aged 3-11 at various community and parish venues around Chelmsford during the Summer Holidays. We focus on improving balance, muscle & bone strength, flexibility, posture & aerobic health to keep you fit for life. Messy play is an open-ended way of exploration that allows babies and children to take the lead and independently explore different textures and materials through various senses.
A Low Impact circuit class aimed for residents who are inactive and at risk of cardiovascular diseases and mild to moderate mental health conditions. Please note all participants looking to take part must book a consultation to see the Get Active Specialist first. This consultation will run through the essential inclusion criteria to determine eligibility. Participants will receive 6 weeks free of exercise classes and then £4.50 per person
