Otago is a muscle strengthening and balance retraining program developed and tested by the New Zealand falls prevention research group. The idea behind Otago is that muscle strength, balance, flexibility and reaction time can all be improved to reduce your risk of falling. The session will include use of chairs and ankle weights. First class free.
A swim session for anyone with a long-term health condition who wants to do some exercise in the water, work on their swim technique or just socialise in an accessible environment. The session is ran by an exercise referral instructor and a swim teacher.
Learn to SUP on our 2-hour beginner paddleboard lesson at SUPsect stand up paddle boarding school at Paper Mill Lock near Chelmsford, Essex. Starting from absolute basics we teach all of the essential paddle skills in our 2-hour Learn to SUP lesson. You’ll have a lot of fun, but most importantly you’ll learn all you need to know to stand-up paddleboard safely and competently by yourself.
