Grampian Inclusive Cycling Bothies (GICB) is a 3-year lottery funded project to make cycling more accessible in Grampian. We currently have cycling bothies in Aberdeen, Peterhead, Alford and Banff, where we run regular sessions using adapted bikes. WASP provides free, accessible cycling sessions to all who would benefit from our bikes. We have a wheelchair platform bike, a handcycle, a side-by-side tricycle for those with sensory impairments, who want their support worker with them, or who just want to chat, and various other tricycles to use. Adult Walking Tennis - if you are a little less mobile or have a health condition which you feel limits you from keeping up with everyone else, why not try Walking Tennis. A smaller court area is used, with softer and slower balls, which can bounce twice. Underarm serves can be used. All abilities are welcome - just play your way at your pace.
