Weekly multi-sport activities for disabled people of all ages. Club Lambeth takes place at the heart of disability sport in Lambeth. The session is an ideal time for young people to come after school, but is open to all. Siblings are welcome to join in and parents/carers are encouraged to stay, watch and even take part! A Play Session for children under 12s Booking times are for 60 minutes - 15 minutes for entry and 45 minutes activity time. Supervision ratios apply for children under 8 years. For Trampoline Parks, trampoline specific socks must be worn. This is an inclusive session for people with disabilities.
The Y.E.S Project (Youth Empowered Space) uses the power of Dance and Movement initiatives to engage and empower young people to overcome their challenges, make connections, aim high, and reach their potential. Through FREE sessions designed by young people, Y.E.S Projects help participants develop key skills such as leadership, teamwork, creativity and improved confidence levels. Chair-based Aerobics classes are a great way to get you exercising without the fear of falling. Seated exercise is good for mobility function, strength training and social inclusion
Walking netball is played at walking pace, with players not allowed to run. This includes with the ball or off the ball, and includes jogging. You can ‘walk’ as fast as you want and walking as described in the rules is “one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times'”. PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
