Rockets SEND programme caters for adults ( aged 18+) with additional needs who want to be involved in a fun and active sports session. The club understands how powerful sport can be in boosting confidence, staying healthy, enhancing social skills and learning to work as part of a team. Our SEND sessions are suitable for boys and girls of any ability and a diagnosis isn't required to join the programme. It is open to any child who finds mainstream sessions challenging.
A low/no impact full body conditioning technique to build strength, flexibility and stability, especially in the deep core muscles back and hips. A technique that is used across the globe for body maintenance, injury prevention, rehab and sporting performance.

Phoenix Badminton Club are running a 'No Strings' session alongside their main club night. No Strings a national participation programme offering, fun ‘pay and play sessions’. It offers a friendly and welcoming club-like session with no commitments. The Accessible Swim Session is designed to help disabled and less-abled swimmers to build on their water confidence and swimming technique. Available to to all users in a friendly and supportive environment. Pool hoist availabe if required.
Walking netball is played at walking pace, with players not allowed to run. This includes with the ball or off the ball, and includes jogging. You can ‘walk’ as fast as you want and walking as described in the rules is “one foot must be in contact with the ground at all times'”.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have never used the toning suite before you are required an induction. Inductions are £11.80 and must be booked over the phone or in site 01472 326875. You are only permitted to use the Toning Suite if you meet a certain criteria which will be authorised by the Fitness Supervisor.
Wheelchair rugby is a fast paced, full contact team sport open to ages eight upwards and both sexes and to most levels of disabilities, especially those with higher levels of disabilities for whom there are very few options to take part in sport.
