This is an Intermediate/Gear 2 walk (the distance is greater than a Gear 1/Intermediate walk) of approximately 4 miles with a couple of different options according to the ground conditions. Maybe one or two short steep ramps and some longer hills can be included depending on sign ups, but as a rule the walk includes gentle inclines and hard tracks through woods. The Fit 4 U 2 service provides physical activity opportunities for people with a learning disability. Their leisure centre sessions include a mix of group exercise and inclusive sports e.g. boccia, indoor golf, badminton, archery and kurling, which are adapted to meet needs of participants.
Walking Netball is a slower version of the game; it is netball, but at a walking pace. Sessions are full of fun, laughter and camaraderie.
