We offer swimming lessons to anyone who has a physical, visual or hearing impairment who would like to improve their swimming. These sessions are aimed at swimmers who can confidently swim 10 meters on their front and back. These Lessons are delivered by highly qualified coaches who support and encourage all swimmer regardless of their impairment. Sessions for adults to swim socially, no lanes. These sessions are generally quieter and so may be more suitable for those living with dementia, neurodivergence and/or other long term health conditions
‘Tigers’ is a football club for adults (18+) who have a learning disability. We train on a Monday evening from 5.00pm to 6.00pm at South Wilts Sports Club, Wilton Road, Salisbury. From time to time the club is involved in tournaments, where we play against similar teams from other parts of Wiltshire. South Wilts Mencap support the club by transporting the players to tournaments in the minibus.
No Strings is a national participation programme offering, fun ‘pay and play sessions’. It offers a friendly and welcoming club-like session with no commitments. It is a great way to socialise and keep fit in a non-competitive, friendly environment. No Strings is fully inclusive and open to over 18 players of any ability.
