Overview
For those of our members (and their partners/carers as appropriate) with mild Parkinson's symptoms, this is a gentle and safe way to improve posture, functional movement and confidence when walking. No pressure here to walk further or faster than you feel comfortable with. This leisurely walk lasts up to an hour, and includes exercises that help with flexibility, balance and strength.
Park near the entrance to the Nidderdale Greenway by Lime Kiln Wood, on the loop road out of Ripley towards Killinghall. The loop road is signed to Killinghall Business Park, immediately after the pedestrian crossing, on the left,heading out of Ripley towards Killinghall, before crossing the river.
